How to Upgrade Items in Pokemon GO
The Upgrade is among the most valuable items in Pokemon GO. It allows trainers to evolve Porygon into Porygon2 and it also allows them to advance in their Pokedex.
While this item is quite rare, players can locate it by spinning a photo disc at a Pokestop or as a reward during some special occasions. What does this item do?
Components
Upgrade components are objects that can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons or gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect while the item is being utilized. They are a crucial component for crafting. They can be obtained by salvaging or bought from vendors. They can also be found in the form of drops in the game dropped by enemies, or gathered from item spheres. They can be used to upgrade any weapon or armor with an upgrade slot.
Using upgrade components to maximize the experience gained from upgrading weapons and gear is key to achieving the highest degree of progression in the game. The multiplier of experience of an upgraded item is increased by incorporating organic components, while mechanical components reduce it. The best combination is a high experience-multiplier organic component followed by a low-experience-multiplier mechanical component. This will enhance the experience you gain and allow you to move on to the next level.
The upgrade system is complex, and it's important to understand how it works so that you can maximize the benefits of your upgrades. The system keeps a running total for the item that you are upgrading. Each component has a positive or negative experience multiplier value, and when the total is at a certain level then it's reset to zero.
The amount of experience gained by each upgrade component can also be influenced by the item's hidden rank and its experience multiplier. The higher-ranked items are more difficult to upgrade whereas lower-ranked items are simpler to acquire.
If a new version of the hardware is installed, it's essential to carefully remove all connections and fasteners holding the old component in place. Save them for later use in a parts tray for easy identification and secure storage. After the new hardware has been installed, reconnect any cables or wires and connect the power supply to electrical power. Then, test the computer by turning it on. If everything is connected correctly the computer will start normally. This is an essential step to ensure the new hardware will work seamlessly with your existing system.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be a great tool to enhance your gear but you must understand how to utilize it. Each glyph can be used to improve an existing substatus, and the higher the rank of a glyph, the more powerful it will be. Choose wisely because you can only upgrade glyphs once. Glyphs are only available only once, and they will disappear after you've used them on an object or artifact.
The best characters are those that improve the probability of rolling an affix with the desired level. They are typically found on the most expensive armor, weapons and accessories. They are also available on the Paragon Board and are usually worth the extra effort, however they can be hard to get.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Chests or purchase them from the Trading Post. Some glyphs are only available for one-time use some are not, while others are permanently. They are excellent for items that need to be rerolled frequently. The Glyph of Hope allows you to increase the chances of obtaining a specific affix by creating a magical effect on an item.
Certain glyphs may also be used to change existing affixes. This is most common on boots, gloves and belts, all can accommodate four different affixes. The Glyph of Insight, for example, transforms the prefix to an experimental affix. This is a great tool if you are looking for a high-quality affix in the specified slot or need to maximize damage output.
When Additional Info reach 50, the game changes dramatically. Instead of having to rely on the campaign, you'll have to navigate the complex Paragon Board, Nightmare Dungeons, and new grinds to ensure that your character is as perfect as you can get it.
The best glyphs will be those that match your character's specialization, for example the Exploit Glyph that increases damage to enemies who are vulnerable. Control Glyph is another good glyph that can increase damage against enemies that are stunned, frozen, or slow. Each glyph has its own radius which grows as it is upgraded. This makes glyphs the most effective way to improve your gear in the late game.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are upgrade items that allow players to change the attribute of an item. It is possible to do this within the item window, by selecting an item and clicking a green button that has circular arrows. The cost of a reroll is determined by the rarity of the item.
Reroll tokens can be found in the Mystery Box, as a rare drop from skulled creatures or bought from the Trader. They can also be obtained through Events Items and are also available from other players. They can be used to reroll weapons, armors, and rings in increments of two. Each rerolling token gives players the opportunity to roll an attribute that is either higher or lower than their previous roll.
The reroll token is not just used to upgrade the reroll however, it can also be used to recycle items. The rarity of the item determines the number of points that players can earn for recycling it. This is a great way to dispose of old, unneeded equipment that hasn't been upgraded.
The reroll token can also be used to offer new weapon characteristics. They are then shown to the player, who has the option to decide whether to accept them or not. The player is able to offer up to six items at once and the choices increase as the item's rarity and level rises. This option is accessible through the Upgrade tab within the forge.
Reroll tokens can also be used to reroll the set bonus of an item, which is applied when three or more items from the same set are placed on an item. The set bonus only applies to units that belong to the same class, and cannot be applied to units that belong to different classes.
There are a variety of other upgrade items in the game that can be rerolled like the recipes. These are not offered by the shop or reroll, but are instead transferred to the non-droppable Pool when players choose the Food Card that requires new Ingredients or Equipment. The reroll token can be used to reroll the additional bonuses that these items offer however, the basic stats and levels (including all upgrades) will remain the same.
Leveling
In the game, you can upgrade your equipment by using upgrade items. These items can be made by obtaining the necessary ingredients from NPCs that can upgrade items located in major cities. After an item has been upgraded, it will be given a bonus to its base stats. In addition, some affixes may be rerolled. This can result in significant increases to the ilvl of an item.
In the upper left corner an icon in blue will appear when an item has been upgraded. The item will also show the number of upgrades that are below its maximum level. The item's maximum level will increase if there's more upgrades. Players can upgrade items in as many instances as they wish. This will allow them to reach gear breakpoints, which increases the chance of rerolling certain affixes.
The ability to upgrade items gives players the ability to improve the level of their weapons, helms, and armor. This process costs items that can later be redeemed by the item upgrader NPC to earn currency. The upgrader will show an image of the item at its new level and will accept either Happy Tickets or Happy Stars to complete the upgrade. The item used to purchase materials will be destroyed. However the upgraded item will be able to keep Item EXP, which will allow it to be upgraded further.
Although there isn't a 100% sure method to get an upgrade, it does have a very low chance of dropping when spinning Pokestops or Gyms. Players can also make an upgrade on the Porygon to evolve it into an Porygon2 that will consume the item.
The Upgrade is a new feature that was introduced in Generation II. Silph Co. produces a transparent device that contains all kinds of data. It can be used to evolve certain Pokemon species and can be activated when you trade it with a Link Cable. It is a very rare item that has an 1% drop rate per spin at Pokestops and Gyms. It is also available by completing the Upgrade Station Event.
