World of Warcraft Upgrade Item Guide
The Upgrade item is used by trainers to evolve Porygon2 into Porygon2. This transformation requires an upgrade and a Sinnoh Stone, and 50 Porygon Candy.

Upgrade components
Upgrade components are things that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give a bonus or extra effect when the equipment is used. They can be bought from vendors or players, scavenged or gotten as rewards, or made with crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects in addition to offering bonus points for attributes.
Infusions, inscriptions and enhancements are all types of upgrade components. They are not generally available for general use, and can only be used on ascended equipment or some non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. You can recover infusions, inscriptions and enrichments from equipment using an Infusion Extractor Device or by salvaging them using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage tool.
Phoenix Boxes unlike other upgrade products are able to be traded and re-used when still attached to an item that they are upgrading. These upgrade items are the best option to boost quality of armor and weapon without spending Dilithium because they can increase the item's chance of receiving an upgrade by two times.
An upgrade component placed within an item can be replaced with a different one, but doing so destroys the original (except for upgrades of legendaries and equipment that has been ascended). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or greater. If you upgrade the weapon already equipped with an upgrade suffix or prefix the item will be referred to as it appears on the game screen (for example adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor creates Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player is limited to up to three upgrade items at once.
Glyphs
Glyphs are a fantastic addition to any item. They provide unique advantages and boosts. Some Glyphs increase the number of affixes that an item has, increasing its effectiveness. These glyphs can be obtained by working through dungeons. Some can even be found in specific World Tier 3 zones. It's important to remember that glyphs are not available on a character who has not been able to create an dungeon with a root of the same depth.
To use a Glyph you first have to create it with components and then connect them using anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you don't want to create the glyph using components, you can build it by using a combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element close to the highlighted component to snap it into place.
Certain glyphs require certain conditions to satisfy, like having a minimum of 25 Dexterity in a specific region on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a particular number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which may be a challenge to attain. Some glyphs have a radius that grows with each level.
Glyphs are used for a wide variety of items, and are added to any weapon, except for weapons of a particular class. Some of these glyphs also have conditional requirements for instance, having a certain number of Dexterity or Attack damage in a specific area on the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph gives you an 5% chance to block enemy attacks. It also has a 15% chance to render the Hero vulnerable for 2 turns.
Certain glyphs can also be applied to limited use tools, such as the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. The addition of these glyphs will contribute to the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most common glyphs in the game are the attack glyphs which boost Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed amount. They are particularly useful for classes that are ranged, such as Warriors and Rogues. The Exploit Glyph renders enemies who strike the Hero vulnerable to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are used to reroll results that are rolled during an Action. When the reroll happens the tokens are then discarded. Reroll tokens can be obtained in a variety of ways, such as through raids and dungeons or by participating in skirmishes. They can also be purchased at the shop or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials because they let players roll the rewards of the final chest.
Recycle point values are provided for items that are at level 1. The upgrade gauge will grow by a specific amount of points each time you recycle an item. This is based on the rarity of the item as well as its level. In addition, the upgraded item will not retain its level when rerolled and the cost of recycling an upgraded item increases with its level.
Alternately, players can use reroll tokens in order to make an upgrade item rerollable, but this will not return the item to its original level or provide the original statistics. This is useful for players who wish to reroll an item they don't like, but want to keep it in their collection.
Three kinds of upgrade coins are available in the game - reroll, randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type has several subtypes. Reroll tokens, for example are available in three categories that are rare, legendary, and enhanced. Each level requires an item from the respective level to make an item of the same quality.
To use rerolling Resource must select "Reroll Token" by right-clicking on the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select the type of token. The tokens that are available include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The Item token can be used to create an Item in any quality. Making use of an item token or a Weapon or Misc token will create a new weapon of the same faction.
The item may also be upgraded to a new item with the same stats but is at a higher level. This is likely to happen if the item is in the Pool that cannot be dropped or has been transferred to it as part of an Franchise Card.
